Forum Post: RE: DataGroup Explorer - Imperial / Metric Field Title Error
In Andreas's pic, StructuralQuantities says 0.6080m3; Structural Quantities says 0.61 cubic mm! Even if I'm just repeating what you're all saying, 'cubic mm' is in itself wrong - should be 'mm3'. Is...

You are very observant, Tom. I didn't catch that bug. Now let's see how many bugs we can find in that screenshot. 1.) "cubic mm" should be "m3". 2.) "lb" should be "kg" 3.) Material Density should be...

Hi Duncan, Many thanks for your reply and taking time to respond. I have also experienced the slab picking up elements even if they are off in the display. However in this case even if I have only 1...

Yeah! But these data are still present in Dataset Explorer - the more obscure items on the Parts View drop-down, like Report Components and maybe others - that's what you're seeing. But - are you...

Anyone? I have to finish a text for a course, and I can't give an explanation... Thanks in advance, Pedro
View ArticleForum Post: RE: How to get rid of a 3D sink
maybe the issue is in the compound cell: select the 3D part as Plan(Zeichnung in my screenshot) As you can see the Compound Cell show the upper Element in the section view

It worked perfectly, Karsten! I re-created the cell and all went OK. It seems strange anyway - All cells I've placed here are taken from the original cells supplied with AECOsim. Some seem well...
View ArticleForum Post: RE: What about ABD on Windows8
What about Office 365? Not that we are using it, but is it also certified for that one?
View ArticleForum Post: RE: What about ABD on Windows8
Office 365 is a Cloud based service and is fairly new. Maybe in the near future we will support it but for now, as far as I know, we do not support it.
View ArticleForum Post: RE: What about ABD on Windows8
I have been using 8 and 8.1 since SS2 without issues
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Section Forward Graphic
I tend to have 2d for Floor Plans and 3d for Elevations. A Window is a good example or something like a toilet or urinal. the 3d in the elevation look great and saves me from having to create a 2d.
View ArticleForum Post: RE: How to get rid of a 3D sink
That is an issue here. I use the delivered as quick sets but have replaced most all with our own sets. the delivered do not have proper weights for plans or elevations and the rendering is remiss.
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Slabs - Flooding slabs to boundary element
I wish the flood was tied to the current elevation, or distance above elevation and make the slab at that elevation. that way we could flood a room with a ceiling even with all doors in place.

I see that is for hatching but does that work with materials and Geomaps
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Can MS/BD do this?
If you are talking about the section and details - YES - However It depends how much detail you put in. Typically for me this would be a stand-alone detail as I'd not have this much detail in an...
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Door / window Schedule plan
I'd still probably stick with a SINGLE large schedule and not the mini as that is just a repetition of data which increases your chances of a mistake.
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Dataset_NM Material Density
I'll look into the Density value aspect since that seems to be a dataset issue (not just NM). Edit: Christian, I've taken SR# 7000229520 since it's the same issue as Andreas' SR# 7000052486 so would...

Andreas, is this related to/the same as the density issue described in the other thread? communities.bentley.com/.../100510.aspx
