Does anyone know how to output AECOsim doors' Master or Omni classification data to column Category in the COBie spreadsheet's under the TAB "Type"? It seems that under the Export IFC tool these classification attributes for objects such as furniture and plumbing fixture are being automatically output under the Category in the COBie spreadsheet TAB "Type". I checked to make sure that the doors belong to the correct Family/Part and the classification data fields are entered correctly in the DataGroup Catelog. No matter how I do it, the Category for Door remains as "n/a". I appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks. In case my custom doors are causing the problem, I inserted a standard AECOsim door (DoorDoubleFlush) but got the same result.
