Do it every DAY - Parts and DV work wonderfully giving me a WYSIWYG representation of what I will see on the sheet. I save a great deal of time where I used to create DEM throughout the day (which takes time) I may go now days without a print as my DV's look good and so does the sheet with the referenced DV and thus the Sheet.
IFYI for my sheets htey are light tan with all black pens so that it looks like what I should expect to see. this has helped catch things before they are printed.
