On Place Linear Form with Auto Connect 'on', separately placed non-touching forms extend and connect to others nearby in a wide variety of different ways, depending on the Forms' orientation and relative position. Sometimes an L (bisector/mitre) will be created; sometimes one Form will Trim back the other but not be extended itself to meet, more like an uncompleted L (parallel/lap); sometimes a T (extending one but not trimming the other to the intersection); sometimes other variations; sometimes nothing at all, even when very close. Wanting to understand fully, partly in order to contribute to the imminent BD pre-alpha process. It would save a lot of investigation, if there's some simple rule-based answer to these different behaviours. Including - what is the distance, deciding whether 2 forms should connect or ignore each other?
