Tom, In the ..\WorkSpace\BuildingDatasets\Dataset_Name folder for each dataset is a PDF describing the changes from the previous version of that dataset. In the case of the NM dataset, it's named "Dataset_NM_SS5_delta.pdf, and beginning on page 4 are the changes made to accommodate the extendedcontent\ structure. The accompanying document, NM Dataset Contents HELP Guide.pdf, also outlines some of the differences between the two versions of this dataset.
