In my opinion, it can be a place between two worlds to attend all users needs: 1 - A friendly and intuitive interface; 2 - Changes to be done by editing system files. The problem is that if you give users freedom to do all changes, it can become a mess, and if you assume thal all the users needs are fullfilled and no freedom is needed, it do not attend all users. I agree that Bentley way is a little tricky to regular users, but it gives much more freedom than other SWs. Bentley could develop an easier way of editing properties, as a wizard to do this, instead of depending of huge support background, that sometimes is not effective regarding the immediate answer when it come to a problem that happens as the model is being developed. My vision is of an former Application Engineer that already trained lots of users in Bentley solutions, and had done lots of supports. Regards,
