We have updated the recent commercial release of AECOsim Building Designer V8i (SELECTseries 4), version 08.11.09.590 to version 08.11.09.592. We will subsequently retire the 08.11.09.590 version; therefore it will no longer be available for download from Download/MySELECTCD. This update was required to address a few issues discovered within the AECOsim Building Designer, version 08.11.09.590 release.
The following issues were addressed:
- TR 352382 (Structural) – Attempting to create a Graphic Symbols drawing rule label always results in a "Incomplete definition for symbol" error
- TR 352404 (Mechanical) – Design File DG validation errors for all plumbing components.
- TR 352434 (Building Platform) – ACS is deleted after setting all views to another ACS and then reopening the DGN file
- TR 352443 (Building Platform) – ACS origin is not consistently aligning with the building origin, if the building is relocated within Floor Manager.
- TR 352445 (Architecture) - Design file DG validation errors for roofs
- TR 352467 (Architecture) – Modify wall/compound wall catalog does not update wall geometry, causing a data mismatch.
- TR 352470 (Building Platform) – Forms/Slabs are not getting rendered within Luxology
If users previously downloaded and installed AECOsim Building Designer, version 08.11.09.590, there is no need to uninstall it. Installing AECOsim Building Designer, version 08.11.09.592 will automatically detect the earlier 08.11.09.590 version and upgrade the installation. If a user has a previous installation of AECOsim Building Designer V8i (SELECTseries 3), version 08.11.09.376 or earlier, AECOsim Building Designer, version 08.11.09.592 will install independently allowing for a side-by-side installation of AECOsim Building Designer V8i SELECTseries 3 (08.11.09.3xx) and SELECTseries 4 (08.11.09.592). This update to AECOsim Building Designer, version 08.11.09.592, will have no impact on the SELECTseries 4 datasets.
Likewise the corresponding Forum posting "AECOsim Building Designer V8i (SELECTseries 4), Commercial Release (v08.11.09.590)" will be updated to reference version 08.11.09.592
