Thanks for your quick reply. I believe that what you say has happened. Compound Walls appear to have been dropped so that they could be edited , and to drop a compound part you need to unlock the graphic group. In turn - the green dashed line has also been deleted. We did not know that deleting the dashed line in a compound wall deletes all of the instance data! At the moment I have about 300 wall elements listed in 'wall leaves' catalogue type which have no compound parent. I assume that these were all part of a compound wall at some point? We don't have time to re-draw these compound walls. I would prefer to add instance data to the separate elements that used to make up the compound wall (which already have defined parts/families). I.e. Is there anyway that we can add instance data/uniclass codes to 'wall leaves that have no 'compound parent'? Thanks in advance.
