Most efficient way we've come across is to use the Structural Report Spreadsheet in the Data tab. This allows you to delete the marks in excel, then push the change back into the model. You have to do it for all files (it doesn't run through references) but at least its reliable and error free. Thanks for the suggestion Stuart Milne!
